RISE Retreat Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By registering for, making payment toward, or attending the RISE Retreat - A Sacred Pause, you agree to be bound by the terms below.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Participant," "you") and Towanda Wellbeing LLC, together with its retreat facilitators and co-hosts (collectively, "we," "us," or "the Hosts"), governing your participation in the RISE Retreat - A Sacred Pause in Peebles, OH, December 5-8, 2026 (the "Retreat"). By booking, paying, or attending, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms on your own behalf.

The Retreat

The Retreat is a four-day, three-night co-ed wellness experience limited to thirteen participants. It includes guided nature hikes, morning movement and meditation, workshops, ceremony, energy medicine, art therapy, forest bathing, breathwork, and related activities as we see fit for the group. The Hosts may adjust the schedule, activities, facilitators, and included offerings at any time and at their discretion, including for weather, safety, group needs, or circumstances beyond their control. The itinerary published before or during the Retreat is a guide, not a guarantee.

Eligibility & Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register and attend.

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information at booking and to complete any pre-retreat survey or intake form we provide.

  • Your spot is confirmed only when full payment is received and you receive a confirmation from us.

  • Spots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pricing & Payment

The Retreat fee is $1,497 USD per participant, unless a valid discount or coupon code is applied at checkout. Full payment is due at the time of booking to secure your spot.

Financing

Financing options such as Klarna, Afterpay, and Affirm may be offered at checkout through third-party providers. If you choose financing, your installment agreement is solely between you and that provider. The Hosts receive payment in full at booking and are not a party to, and are not responsible for, the terms, fees, or servicing of any financing arrangement.

Promotional offers

Any bonus, early-commitment offer, or discount is valid only as stated at the time of purchase and subject to the conditions published with it. Bonus sessions or gifts have no cash value and are non-transferable.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. BY REGISTERING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE RESERVE YOUR ACCOMMODATION, MEALS, FACILITATORS, AND MATERIALS IN ADVANCE BASED ON YOUR COMMITMENT, AND THAT THESE COSTS CANNOT BE RECOVERED.

If you cancel

If you are unable to attend, your payment is forfeited, except that guest cancellations due to genuine extenuating circumstances may, at the Hosts' sole discretion, receive a credit toward a future retreat valid for twelve (12) months from the original Retreat date. All cancellations must be submitted to us in writing by email.

If we cancel

If the Hosts cancel the Retreat due to circumstances such as travel bans, illness, or other events beyond our reasonable control, you will receive a credit toward a future retreat valid for eighteen (18) months from the original Retreat date. We are not responsible for any airfare, travel, lodging, or other costs you incur in connection with a canceled or rescheduled Retreat.

No-shows & early departure

No refunds or credits are given for arriving late, leaving early, or not attending, for any reason.

Travel, Accommodation & Insurance

  • The fee includes shared or assigned accommodation as described in your booking, meals, and the activities listed as included.

  • Not included: round-trip airfare, transportation between the airport and the retreat location, travel insurance, and any personal expenses.

  • You are responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel to and from Peebles, OH and for your transportation to and from the accommodation.

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Because all payments are non-refundable, we encourage you to purchase a policy that covers trip cancellation, interruption, medical care, and emergency evacuation.

You are responsible for disclosing all allergies and dietary needs and for carrying any personal medication (such as an epinephrine auto-injector) you may require.

Assumption of Risk

YOU UNDERSTAND THAT PARTICIPATION INVOLVES INHERENT RISKS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PHYSICAL INJURY FROM HIKING AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITY, EXPOSURE TO WEATHER AND WILDLIFE, TRAVEL-RELATED RISKS, AND EMOTIONAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL RESPONSES TO THE WORK. KNOWING THESE RISKS, YOU VOLUNTARILY CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE AND ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.

Release of Liability & Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release, waive, and agree not to sue the Hosts, Towanda Wellbeing LLC, its owners, facilitators, co-hosts, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or connected to your participation in the Retreat, your travel, or your use of the accommodation and facilities, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or where such a release is not permitted by law. You agree that this release is binding on you, your heirs, and your representatives.

Code of Conduct

The Retreat is a shared space built on respect, safety, and consent. You agree to treat facilitators and fellow participants with courtesy and to follow reasonable instructions from the Hosts. We reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, harassing, or harmful to the group or the experience, without refund and at that participant's own expense for any resulting travel or lodging changes.

Confidentiality

To protect the safety and trust of the group, what is shared by other participants during the Retreat is confidential. You agree not to record, repeat, or share other participants' personal stories or information without their express permission.

Photography & Media Release

We may photograph or record portions of the Retreat for documentation and promotional purposes. By attending, you grant the Hosts permission to use images or recordings that may include you across marketing and social media, without compensation. If you prefer not to be included, you must notify us in writing before or at the start of the Retreat, and we will make reasonable efforts to honor your request.

Personal Belongings

You are responsible for your own personal belongings throughout the Retreat. The Hosts and the accommodation are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Changes & Force Majeure

The Hosts are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, illness or pandemic, government action, travel restrictions, or venue closure. In such cases we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer a credit as described above, but are not responsible for your related travel or personal costs.

Intellectual Property

All retreat materials, workbooks, recordings, and content are the property of Towanda Wellbeing LLC and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell them without our written permission.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Retreat will first be addressed through good-faith discussion, and, if unresolved, through mediation and/or binding arbitration in Brown County, Ohio.

Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms, together with any documents referenced at checkout, form the entire agreement between you and the Hosts regarding the Retreat and supersede any prior discussions. We may update these Terms before the Retreat, and the version in effect at the time of your booking applies to you.
